In your lifetime, there are many shows you will love and be entertained with. FRIENDS , 30 Rock , Doctor Who are for me to name a few. Sometimes, you get invested in those shows that you want to be in them and want to protect and envelop them in a bubble because you relate to the characters or because they make you happy every week. I had three, let's just say, that I literally got emotionally attached to, shows where you will cry over every small thing that happens to the characters. These three are Parks and Recreation , Castle , and most recently, and was a surprise, Whiskey Cavalier .

The Most Noble Lady in the Universe

Everybody has their favourite Doctor or favourite companion in Doctor Who . My first Doctor is actually Matt Smith, the Eleventh Doctor. I never had any intention of watching the series, frankly, but then I learned from two of my friends, who are Whovians, which is what fans of the show, that Neil Gaiman wrote an episode. So I persuaded them if I can see it without seeing the previous episodes. I fell in love after watching The Doctor's Wife . Now, my Doctor is David Tennant, the Tenth Doctor. My favourite companion is Donna Noble, with Sarah Jane a close second. For me, Donna is one of the best companions, if not the best (over SJ. Sorry Lis!). Her story is a very tragic one compared to the other reboot (2005) companions - Rose is in the parallel universe with her own Doctor, the Ponds, despite being "assassinated" by the Weeping Angels to 1930s New York, had lived a very happy life even if The Doctor cannot see them anymore because of the paradox, adopted a boy, an...

Poster, credit: National Theatre Live website Finally gathered my thoughts in order, I think, after watching National Theatre Live's (in partnership with the Cultural Centre of the Philippines) A Streetcar Named Desire with Gillian Anderson as Blanche DuBois, Vanessa Kirby as Stella Kowalski, and Ben Foster as Stanley Kowalski on Tuesday, 24 June at Glorietta 4. For full disclosure, yes I watched because Gillian. I heard the others discussing the characters and story; probably students. I never watched the film - we have a VCD of it because my mum likes Marlon Brando - nor have I read the book. I came in armed with the knowledge of what I read in Wikipedia. I do know that I want to see this because, again, Gillian. And we rarely get to see plays or musicals filmed and released in theatres. I didn't know that: 1. CCP is partnered with NTL; 2.
