- OMG! This is a truly great episode! Great job, Rob Hanning and Terrence Paul Winter!
- Beckett had been doing surveillance on Vulcan Simmons after the events of In the Belly of the Beast and Castle knows about it, that she goes out and about during the wee hours of the morning just to take pictures of Simmons' whereabouts.
- Lanie trembling when she was talking to Kate about ballistics match, .40 cal gun, is terrifying. The .40 was registered to Kate, which was in her home, I'm assuming in her apartment.
- Beckett in tears as she cuffs her mother's murderer is so touching. :')
- Caskett sharing a phone when someone is talking at the other end. As in, sharing. They could have put it in speaker but no. They want to be close to each other so they share.
- "For the couple who has everything..." ♥
- Badass Beckett is back! Damn! She shoots blindly from behind her and gets her target! Seriously! How the hell?! She has eyes on her back?! x)
- Oh was she seriously injured when the man broke a bottle of wine on her head? Cos it was bleeding but since they're on the run, they can't go to a hospital. But I assume it was a little scratch and Castle put something on it to stop bleeding.
- Aw!! Castle carrying Beckett! ♥
- For years, Beckett couldn't find a clue to who her mum's murderer is. She had searched her mother's belongings, left and right, top to bottom, but couldn't find anything. Enter Castle. When he sees her mother's journal datebook, he sees some kind of Elven shorthand Johanna developed and a sentence that Beckett had seen before "D Me w/ Family" and had deciphered as "Dinner Me with Family" as Johanna was supposed to go to dinner with Jim and Kate the night she was murdered. Castle deciphered it, with a little help from a certain Mr Smith, as "D M = Detective Montgomery, e = evidence, w/ family".
- I never really figured out the significance of the figurine of marching elephants on Beckett's desk. Now I know. And for 15 years, six for the audience, the thing Beckett needed, if she only knew, was just inside a secret compartment in that family of marching elephants. It's a really great thing that Castle was able to help her, which she got mad for in the beginning.
- Beckett NEEDED Castle to be there so that she can solve and put a closure on her mother's case.
- Castle will do everything to protect Beckett. And he will do everything to be with her, even leaving EVERYTHING. ♥
- Captain Montgomery!! The story he told Castle in Sucker Punch, when Beckett as a patrol officer was skimming through her mother's files. They filmed it for this episode!
- Bracken! I say that look, he isn't finished with Beckett yet. Even when he's in prison, I think he'll do something to wreak havoc in her life.
- So who killed Vulcan Simmons?! lol
- Trivia: Stana's mum was watching her when they filmed in the swing set (Grand Hope Park).
- The promos for next week. WHAT?!!!!!!!! Hahaha!
Both Stana and Nathan delivered in this episode. Hopefully, some award-giving body *coughEmmyscough* will notice. I can't comprehend why Stana doesn't have an Emmy yet, even a nomination.
